Seilers fits into your team’s existing workflow by connecting with the tools you already use every day. Integrations let you receive playbook notifications in Slack, sign in with Google, share SOPs directly in Microsoft Teams, and automate processes through Zapier — all without leaving the tools your team lives in.
Integrations are configured at the workspace level by an Admin. Once connected, the integration is active for the entire workspace, so each individual member does not need to set it up separately.

Available Integrations

Slack

Get notified when playbooks are updated, new SOPs are published, or team members are added — all directly in your Slack channels.

Google Workspace

Sign in with Google and import Google Docs directly into Seilers as playbook drafts, saving time on reformatting.

Microsoft Teams

Share SOPs directly in Teams channels and receive Seilers activity notifications without switching apps.

Zapier

Automate workflows by connecting Seilers to 5,000+ apps through Zapier — no code required.

Connecting Slack

Connecting Slack lets your team receive real-time Seilers notifications in any channel you choose, keeping everyone aligned on process changes without checking Seilers manually.
1

Go to Settings > Integrations

Open Settings from the left sidebar and select the Integrations tab.
2

Click Connect next to Slack

Find the Slack card and click Connect. You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorization page.
3

Authorize Seilers in Slack

Select the Slack workspace you want to connect and click Allow. You’ll be redirected back to Seilers once authorization is complete.
4

Choose a default notification channel

Select the Slack channel where Seilers should post workspace-level notifications (for example, #ops-updates or #team-announcements). You can also configure per-document notification channels from within individual playbooks.
You can customize exactly which events trigger a Slack notification — such as playbook published, SOP updated, or member added — from the Notification triggers settings on the Slack integration page.

Connecting Google Workspace

The Google Workspace integration does two things: it lets your team sign in to Seilers with their Google accounts, and it allows you to import Google Docs directly as playbook drafts. Setting up Google SSO:
1

Go to Settings > Integrations

Open Settings and select the Integrations tab.
2

Click Connect next to Google Workspace

Click Connect on the Google Workspace card and sign in with an account that has Google Workspace Admin privileges.
3

Authorize the connection

Review the requested permissions and click Allow. Once connected, workspace members can sign in to Seilers using Continue with Google on the login page.
Importing a Google Doc as a playbook draft:
1

Create a new playbook

Click + New Playbook from your workspace dashboard.
2

Select Import from Google Docs

In the creation dialog, choose Import from Google Docs instead of starting from scratch.
3

Select your document

A Google Drive file picker will appear. Select the Google Doc you want to import and click Import.
4

Review and publish

Seilers converts the document into an editable playbook draft. Review the formatting, make any adjustments, and publish when ready.

Connecting Microsoft Teams

The Microsoft Teams integration lets your team receive Seilers activity notifications directly in Teams channels and share SOPs with a link preview — without switching away from Teams.
1

Go to Settings > Integrations

Open Settings from the left sidebar and select the Integrations tab.
2

Click Connect next to Microsoft Teams

Find the Microsoft Teams card and click Connect. You’ll be redirected to Microsoft’s authorization page.
3

Sign in and authorize

Sign in with a Microsoft account that has permission to install apps in your Teams tenant, then click Accept to grant Seilers access.
4

Choose your Teams channel

Select the team and channel where Seilers should post workspace notifications. You can add more channels later from the Microsoft Teams integration page in Settings.
Your Microsoft 365 admin may need to pre-approve the Seilers app before it appears in Teams. If the authorization page shows a consent required message, ask your admin to approve the app in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Zapier

The Zapier integration lets you connect Seilers to thousands of other apps to automate repetitive tasks triggered by activity in your workspace. Available trigger events in Seilers:
  • Playbook published — fires when a playbook is published or a new version goes live.
  • SOP updated — fires when an existing SOP’s content is saved with changes.
  • Member added — fires when a new member joins the workspace.
Common use cases:
  • Automatically create a Notion page or Confluence article when a new SOP is published in Seilers.
  • Send a message to a Microsoft Teams channel when a playbook is updated.
  • Add a row to a Google Sheet every time a new member joins your workspace.
  • Trigger an onboarding email sequence in your CRM when a new member is added.
To get started, visit zapier.com and search for Seilers in the app directory. You’ll need to connect your Seilers account using an API key, which you can generate from Settings > Integrations > Zapier.
