Your Seilers account settings are separate from your workspace settings — they control your personal profile, how you log in, what notifications you receive, and which external accounts are connected to your Seilers identity. You can access your account settings at any time by clicking your avatar in the bottom-left corner and selecting Account settings.

Profile Settings

Your profile information is visible to teammates across all workspaces you belong to.

Display nameThe name shown on your comments, shared documents, and in member lists. Use your full name so teammates can identify you easily.
AvatarUpload a profile photo (PNG or JPG, minimum 128×128 px). Your initials are used as a fallback if no photo is uploaded.
Job titleAn optional field that appears on your profile card when teammates hover over your name.
Time zoneYour personal time zone for timestamps and scheduled notifications. This overrides the workspace default for your account only.
To update any of these fields, go to Account settings > Profile, make your changes, and click Save changes.

Email & Password

Changing your email address:

Go to Account settings > Security

Open Account settings and select the Security tab.

Click Change email

Enter your new email address in the field provided.

Verify your new address

Seilers will send a verification email to your new address. Click the link in that email to confirm the change. Your email address is not updated until you complete verification.
Changing your password:

Go to Account settings > Security

Select the Security tab in your account settings.

Click Change password

Enter your current password, then enter and confirm your new password.

Save the new password

Click Update password. You’ll be asked to log in again with your new credentials.
Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA):

Go to Account settings > Security

Select the Security tab.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Click Enable 2FA and scan the QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

Save your backup codes

Seilers will display one-time backup codes. Store these somewhere safe — you’ll need them if you lose access to your authenticator app.

Confirm setup

Enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app and click Confirm to activate 2FA on your account.
If you sign in to Seilers through your company’s SSO provider, password management and 2FA are handled by your identity provider — not Seilers. Contact your IT team to make changes to your login credentials.

Notification Preferences

You can control exactly which events trigger a notification and how you receive them.

To configure your preferences:
  1. Go to Account settings > Notifications.
  2. Toggle each notification type on or off for Email and In-app independently.
  3. Click Save preferences. Changes take effect immediately.
Workspace Admins cannot override your personal notification preferences. These settings are entirely under your control.

Connected Accounts

If your workspace supports Google or Microsoft SSO, you can link those accounts to your Seilers identity so you can log in using either method. To connect a Google or Microsoft account:
  1. Go to Account settings > Connected accounts.
  2. Click Connect next to Google or Microsoft.
  3. Sign in with the account you want to link and authorize the connection.
  4. Once connected, you can log in to Seilers using that provider’s Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft button on the login page.
To disconnect a linked account:
  1. Go to Account settings > Connected accounts.
  2. Click Disconnect next to the account you want to remove.
You cannot disconnect an SSO account if it is the only login method on your Seilers account. Add a password first under Security before disconnecting.

Deleting Your Account

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal profile and login from Seilers across all workspaces.

Go to Account settings > Advanced

Open Account settings and scroll to the Advanced tab.

Click Delete account

Click the Delete my account button in the Danger Zone section.

Confirm the deletion

Enter your email address to confirm, then click Permanently delete account. This action cannot be undone.
Any playbooks or SOPs you created are not deleted when you delete your account. Ownership of your content is automatically transferred to the Admin of each workspace you belonged to. Your comments and edit history are preserved in the document timeline but your name will appear as “Former member.”
