Template Gallery
The template gallery lives in the Playbooks section of your sidebar. Click Templates at the top of the Playbooks page to open it. The gallery is organized by category so you can browse by department or use the search bar to find templates by keyword. Each template card shows you the template name, a brief description of the use case it covers, and a preview of how many sections it includes. You can click any template to preview its full structure before committing to use it — no changes are made to your workspace until you explicitly click Use Template. The gallery includes templates built and maintained by the Seilers team, as well as any custom templates your workspace administrators have published for your organization.Built-In Template Categories

Using a Template
Browse the template gallery
Open the Playbooks section in your sidebar and click Templates. Use the category filters on the left to narrow the list by department, or type a keyword into the search bar (e.g., “interview”, “renewal”, “incident”) to find a specific template.
Preview the template
Click any template card to open the preview panel. The preview shows you the full section structure, sample content blocks, and any embedded SOPs or checklists included in the template. Take a few minutes to read through it — understanding the structure before you start customizing saves significant editing time later.
Click Use Template
When you’ve found the right template, click the Use Template button in the top-right corner of the preview panel. Seilers creates a new draft playbook in your workspace with all the template’s sections and content pre-populated. The template itself remains unchanged in the gallery.
Customize the playbook for your team
Open your new draft playbook and make it your own:
- Replace placeholder text with your actual processes, team names, and tools
- Add or remove sections to match your specific workflow
- Update embedded SOPs to point to the correct procedures in your Seilers library
- Fill in the Details panel with the right owner, category, and tags
- Delete any sections that don’t apply to your team’s context
Saving a Custom Template
If you’ve built a playbook that your team wants to reuse as a starting point — for example, a quarterly business review template or a product launch runbook — you can save it as a custom template in just a few clicks.- Open the published playbook you want to save as a template.
- Click the ⋯ menu in the top-right corner and select Save as Template.
- Give the template a name and a brief description explaining what it’s for and who should use it.
- Choose the visibility level: save it for your own use, share it with your team, or publish it across the entire workspace.
- Click Save Template. Your template now appears in the gallery under the Custom tab.
Sharing Templates
Seilers supports two levels of template sharing so you can control who has access to your custom templates: Team-level sharing makes a template visible only to members of a specific team within your workspace. This is ideal for department-specific templates — for example, a Sales team onboarding template that contains proprietary messaging frameworks or pricing structures you don’t want visible workspace-wide. To share at the team level, select Share with team when saving the template, then choose the team from the dropdown. Workspace-level sharing publishes the template to the gallery for everyone in your Seilers workspace. Workspace admins can also feature a template in the gallery’s Recommended section to make it more discoverable. To share at the workspace level, select Share with workspace when saving the template. Workspace admins can review and approve custom templates before they appear in the main gallery, depending on your workspace’s moderation settings.Workspace admins can manage all custom templates — including editing descriptions, changing visibility, and removing outdated templates — from the workspace Settings page under the Templates tab.
